Prof Rosalind Searle

Work and organisational psychology science (WOP) has a long history of revealing key groups who are marginalised in gaining entry to work, and then in their promotion and progression in organisations. These groups represent a clear injustice, with others’ routes through organisations less hampered. These experiences have long term direct consequences for those impacted, reducing their confidence, but also affecting their trust in both the employing organisation and in society more broadly.

Working with EAWOP’s small groups on youth and employment, and women and ethnic minority individuals we draw on their expertise to provide evidence-based resources that identifies the waste of talent that such short-sightedness can produce, and ways to change.
